Okay, so I finally converted my eBay account to sell clothing and home decor as jazzjodistyle. Often, I find amazing things that are not quite vintage, and I cannot list them on Etsy. Take a look at this dress . . . I love this dress! But, it's not vintage. How could I leave this in the store? I had to buy it and now I'm selling this stylish, strapless, wiggle, little-black-dress at my eBay shop. I'm also going to sell home decor items that I think will do better over there for sales. My heart still belongs to Etsy for Vintage and Handmade items, but eBay could be fun, too.

I've had my Instagram for a few years now, and I LOVE it. I follow some really wonderful people and love looking at amazing photography and vintage clothing. I have been guilty of posting foodporn a few times just because I love sushi and feel compelled to share pictures. As summer approaches, I'll be posting more beach snapshots.
And, I'll admit that I like seeing people's random cat pictures. Kitty in a hat, kitty sleeping, kitty playing with a toy - they are so cute! I'm jazzjodi there, so come say hello. OverviewEvery now and then, I come across a website or blog that I must share with my readers. Erika's blog -- Erika with a K Designs is one of those gems. Here is an up-and-coming bloggers who is dedicated to her craft as an artist and dedicated to developing her business at Etsy, and the readers of her blog are lucky to read about her journey. Erika is exactly what Etsy is all about - people who love to create unique, handmade items and sell beautiful vintage. Did I just say vintage? Oh yeah! Erika is not just a fine artist, but she is a lover of vintage. She successfully combines both her artistry and love of vintage in her Etsy shop of the same name ErickwithaKDesigns. Who is Erika with a K? She is a "27-year-old student and mother of 2, a 7-year-old boy and baby girl." She is from North Dakota but is now living in Santa Fe, NM. Erika has a BA in art and is currently pursuing her "MA in art therapy and counseling." As an artist, jewelry is her favorite medium, particularly beaded jewelry, and her shop is filled with her beautiful creations and vintage finds. Erika's BlogWhen I showed up to one of my local Goodwill stores, I had no idea I'd stumble across a massive selection of shoes! SHOES! Did you hear me? I love pumps, sling back heels, penny loafers, platforms, and more! Especially when they are vintage! First, I like how Goodwill organizes their store by color. Need an Emerald Green shirt? Baby Blue? Lemon Yellow? You can go straight to the section you're looking for and start browsing. However, the racks are not organized by size, so expect to do a lot of searching. Do you see the yellow heels in the lower left corner of this photograph? A hint of good things to come. . . continue reading So, I made this cute meme...share if you like. I'm still laughing. What fun April 1st was today. I hope yours was full of good times.

I checked my Google Analytics this morning to discover that the Internation Space Station control room was viewing my blog! hahahaaaa This was a fun April Fools joke via Google - lol! I laughed so hard I cried! If you missed seeing the views or you don't use the tracking program, here is a screen shot of mine. Good one Google! I love a good laugh in the morning. Spring is coming: Take a look at this fun music video I made to review the vintage clothing from my shop with one of my favorite upbeat songs. Now I want to go run though a field of wild flowers. Joy! Like and share if you feel the same. |
